They even spin failure into some PR-stunt.
And the media-asshats will rejoice in orgasmic chants, reporting from it live and in HDTV.

It's defective because the signal is being clogged with all the magic that was supposed to make everyone use iPads instead of functioning computers.

Some people think that's to acknowledge the problem. It's only to announce the new (cum) white iPhone 4.

I still say they are going to pretty much say:
"Here are some free bumpers which fix this problem, so now you can quit your bitching and shut the fuck up!!!"

I think their tests were all biased. I think all the phones they demoed were using AT&T.

No surprise, only thing I didn't predict was Steve's "BAWWWWW, OUR COMPETITION SUCKS TOO, SEE!!" And we all know just how trustworthy such claims are from this company... I Hope those companies have some good told in store for Apple.

Only other thing I didn't expect was them to play the "nobody is complaining, see our percentage!!", but I did expect them to blame the internet and other companies of astroturfing/lying/etc.

Yep, looking at Engadget's* coverage shows that they sure as hell did.

*Well, the best I could considering the stupid fucktards thought it was a good idea to have the page auto refresh every few second -- dispute it being well over by now. For some reason setting "page-refresh-never" in Opera didn't work and I kept getting thrown back to the top of the darned page.

Free rubber bumpers solve all problems.

Global warming.
Oil spill.
The recession.
The "War on Terror".
Poverty.
Clean water.
Chernobyl.
Pretentious and unwarranted self-importance aka self-aggrandizement.

Wait...

(Taken from Apple website)
"Testing performance in the field.

Apple engineers tested iPhone 4 in a variety of scenarios, environments, and conditions in order to gauge performance. They spent thousands of hours in cities in the U.S. and throughout the world testing iPhone 4 call quality, dropped-call performance, call origination and termination, and in-service time. They tested iPhone 4 while stationary, at high and low speeds, and in urban, dense urban, and highway environments. In low-coverage areas and good-coverage areas, during peak and off-peak hours — iPhone 4 was field-tested in nearly every possible coverage scenario across different vendor and carrier equipment all over the world. "

--> In a stupid stealth case that makes the issue at hand disappear.

"Issue at hand" -- Pun unintended, but quite appropriate.
