It's goddamn trolling that's getting the survey company on the map and wired a ton of pagehits (and, as a result, ad revenue).

>"As a mainstream, closed-platform device whose major claim to fame is ease of use and sex appeal, the iPad is everything that they are not."
Indeed, the butthurt is overwhelming. However, it's not as bad as this older article (and the comments that follow) from TUAW: http://www.tuaw.com/2010/05/29/7-anti-apple-cliches-that-need-to-die/

The study itself looks fairly solid. Their choice of category names is arguably somewhat trollish, however it's standard practice in the marketing demographics industry to use rather blunt and to the point descriptors.

E.g. http://www.experian.co.uk/assets/business-strategies/brochures/Mosaic_UK_20...  ... "Legacy of Labour", "Stressed borrowers" and "Worn-Out Workers" listed under the category "Claimant Culture"? Yeah, many people would be annoyed if they knew they were being judged like that.

I tried reading that, but then saw the guy was a butthurt Macfaggot trying to justify all of his Apple dick sucking.

>Apple isn't the new Microsoft. You know why not? Because other than Windows 7 and Office, the "new" Microsoft doesn't know how to make a successful product.

by that logic, other than the iPod, iPhone and iPad, Apple doesn't know how to make a successful product either.

I'm going to stop reading there lest I get incredibly mad.

You're not missing much; however, if you want to rage, I suggest you continue reading.

Since when are "elites" retards and not people of wealth or superior intellect.
