(This is intended to be used with an Apple toolchain: others may not support frameworks correctly but those from llvm.org do.)

It is only needed if you want to build R for use with the R.APP console, and implies --enable-R-shlib to build R as a dynamic library. This option configures R to be built and installed as a framework called R.framework . The default installation path for R.framework is /Library/Frameworks but this can be changed at configure time by specifying the flag --enable-R-framework[= DIR ] (or --prefix ) or at install time via

Note that installation as a framework is non-standard (especially to a non-standard location) and Unix utilities may not support it (e.g. the pkg-config file libR.pc will be put somewhere unknown to pkg-config ).

Note that building the R.APP GUI console is a separate project, using Xcode. Before compiling R.APP make sure the current version of R is installed in /Library/Frameworks/R.framework and working at the command-line (this can be a binary install).

R.APP does not need to be installed in any specific way. Building R.APP results in the R.APP bundle which appears as one R icon. This application bundle can be run anywhere and it is customary to place it in the /Applications folder.

R has been built successfully on Solaris 10 using the (zero cost) Oracle Developer Studio 83 compilers: there has been some success with gcc / gfortran . (Recent Sun machines are AMD Opterons or Intel Xeons (‘ amd64 ’) rather than ‘ x86 ’, but 32-bit ‘ x86 ’ executables are the default.) How these compilers identify UGG HANZ Slippers metal OxaovlOI
themselves is slightly confusing: Solaris Studio versions 12.3 and 12.4 report C++ 5.12 and 5.13, and Developer Studio 12.5 reports C++ 5.14. We will only consider 12.5 (May 2016): instructions for 12.3 can be found in versions of this manual for R 3.3.x.

The two things I love most about summer in New York City are the searing heat (some wilt; I thrive) and all the aquatic excursions it provokes. When the air is thick and the sun so unrelenting that you’re drenched thirty seconds into your commute, my friends and I hop the A train to Rockaway Beach, where we rotate swimming and basking until the sun is a receding swirl of hot pink and sherbet orange. Or my husband and I take a Zipcar to swim in the falls in Minnewaska State Park, which I think of as the Big Sur of the East Coast.

are unquestionably brutal on my hair. Which is why I’m obsessed with goop’s new hair scrub , and why I jumped at the chance to try a new, in-shower acupressure massage from GP’s acupuncturist, Paul Kempisty.

Kempisty designed it to be deeply calming and resetting—and it is. It feels indulgent, soothing, and grounding all at once. It leaves your hair pristine and your mind preoccupied with nothing but the heavenly sensation of your fingers fluttering and stroking your head. It’s also incredibly simple.

Start with wet hair. You want it soaked, so you get the full extent of the brilliant lather.

Work one or two generous scoops of the scrub into your hair until the lather is billowing and cloudlike.

Starting at the top center of your forehead and lightly, slowly fan your fingers all the way down either side of your face. Repeat, starting farther back at the top of your head, fanning your fingers all the way down past your ears. Repeat this motion, moving backward each time you start at the top of the head so that you cover the entire head, back to front, top to bottom.

Make little circular scrubbing motions with your fingertips, tracing a fake Mohawk down the center of your head, going front to back. Repeat front to back, moving the path of your fingers laterally farther and farther out each time until you’re scrubbing down either side of your head and hit your ears. Exerting some pressure here feels great.

Follow the same front-to-back course, expanding laterally, but this time, firmly push your fingernails down into your scalp.

Next are pinches: Use your fingertips and thumb to gather little sections of the scalp, again going front to back, fanning farther and farther out.

The last motion is the zipper: Starting at your chin on either side of your head, rake your fingers up to meet at the top center of your head, so ultimately your fingers are intertwined. Do this from the front to the back of the head. The more pressure here, the more intense/euphoric it feels.
